On December 6-7, 2024, the Odesa Region MMA Cup took place, dedicated to the Security and Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine.

A total of 214 athletes from Odesa participated in the tournament.

The students of the Odesa Youth Sports School No. 15 secured 17 medals.

The champions in their weight and age categories included: Artem Hlushchak, Ilya Dyvynets, Mukhamed Ovan, Hlib Zadolyany, Artem Sinkov, Artur Dokshakov, Victoria Morosenko, and Oleksandr Rybakov.

Silver medals were won by: Yaroslav Lahunov, Petro Polozovskyi, Ibrahim Ovan, Maksym Motyha, and Victoria Morosenko.

The bronze medalists were: Mykyta Leonov, Marat Dzhafarov, Danyil Markov, and Dmytro Tkach.

The athletes were trained by instructors Ruslan Hasanov, Andriy Solomanchuk, and Victoria Demidova.

The MMA section was opened at the Municipal Institution of Specialized Out-of-School Education «YSS No. 15» in September 2023.
