For the first time since the full-scale invasion, cargo has been shipped from the port of "Chornomorsk" to the Georgian port of "Batumi".
This was reported by Tymofiy Murakhovskyi, the director of commercial operations and logistics at PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", in a statement to "Interfax-Ukraine".
"We completed two voyages on March 18 and 26 from "Chornomorsk" to "Batumi", and a third voyage is scheduled for next week", he said.
According to him, the initial voyages in March were conducted quietly. He urged businesses to engage more actively in this direction.
He noted that the project is being implemented with the participation of the shipping company "Ukrferry" (Odesa) and the subsidiary of PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" UZ Cargo Poland (Warsaw).
