In the early hours of June 10, Odessa was subjected to a massive drone strike, resulting in substantial destruction.

In a video posted by the Odessa Zoo, director Igor Belyakov explained that the main impact of the enemy's 'Shahed' drone occurred in the area between the vivarium and the hay storage. A fire broke out but was quickly extinguished by firefighters. Consequently, technical facilities were damaged and now require extensive repairs.

Unfortunately, one animal – a domestic lamb – lost its life. However, the other animals remained unharmed, and no staff members were injured.
