As a result of nighttime Russian military strikes on September 25, four sections of the railway are experiencing power outages. Train operations have been organized using backup diesel locomotives, as reported by JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" on Facebook.
“There are no injuries, however, there is damage to the infrastructure,” stated Ukrzaliznytsia.
As of 08:00, train movement under backup locomotives continues, with delays noted for the following trains:
- №53/54 Odesa-Golovna - Dnipro-Holovnyi (+5:09);
- №253/254 Odesa-Golovna - Kryvyi Rih-Holovnyi (+5:09);
- №7/8 Odesa-Golovna - Kharkiv-Pas. (+4:47);
- №147/148 Kyiv-Pas. - Odesa-Golovna (+2:01);
- №127/128 Lviv - Zaporizhzhia-1 (+1:18);
- №31/32 Przemyśl - Zaporizhzhia-1 (+1:17);
- №51/52 Zaporizhzhia-1 - Odesa-Golovna (+1:10);
- №91/92 Odesa-Golovna - Kramatorsk (+1:02).
Due to Russian attacks, power outages occurred in certain sections of the railway in Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions.
