The opening of the renovated skatepark and a new basketball court near Lyceum No. 13 in the Peresyp district of Odesa was celebrated with a variety of sporting activities for both adults and children. 

«Today, skaters and cyclists are once again testing the revamped area - it is now safe, clean, and comfortable. All this became possible thanks to the collaboration between the city and reliable partners, including the NGO «Barrier-Free» led by Oleksiy Morozov and MTB Bank», noted Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov. 

«Restoring such a facility is quite challenging - it must be both convenient and safe. We communicated extensively with the school administration, athletes, and parents, and we decided that we would definitely bring it back to life», said Oleksiy Morozov, advisor to the mayor on barrier-free spaces. 

In addition to the updated locations, a new football field will soon be added here, expanding sports opportunities for local residents.
