In the Greek Park of Odessa, a new sculpture was ceremoniously unveiled as part of the project «Garden of Life». This piece, titled «Time», was crafted by the talented artist Mykhailo Reva.

The sculpture depicts a Greek hero holding a broken amphora, a symbol of the fragility of existence and the fleeting nature of time, as well as the value of what we create.

During the event, Odessa's Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov emphasized that this park is not just a recreational space, but a philosophical expression of life created in collaboration with the Greek community.

«The Garden of Life is our symbol: we do not stop, we continue to create, build, and grow, even in the toughest times», – noted Trukhanov.

The Consul General of Greece in Odessa, Christos Zacharopoulos, highlighted the historical ties between Odessa and Greece, stating that the Greek Park represents our unity today.

Honorary citizen and philanthropist Pantelimon Bumburas mentioned that supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a matter of honor for his family, but it is equally important to preserve culture and inspire people with joy.

«Art cannot win a war, but it has the power to heal souls and bring light, reminding the world that we love life, cherish peace, and strive to create», – said the sculptor Mykhailo Reva during the unveiling.

The first part of the «Garden of Life» exhibition was opened on June 5, 2021, when Mykhailo Reva presented a trio of sculptures: «Birth of the Soul», «Paradise Apple Tree», and «Apple of Life». The artist envisions a total of 13 sculptures, each symbolizing a parable about birth, spiritual growth, and the connection between humanity and nature.
