The inspection of rented beaches in the Odesa district has been completed. A task force, established by the mayor's directive, conducted a thorough assessment of the beach areas to ensure compliance with operating rules, sanitation standards, and public accessibility.
The group included representatives from the city government, the Accessibility Council, and veteran organizations.
During the inspection, key criteria were evaluated:
- at least 30% of the rented area must be available for public use;
- no temporary structures on the sand;
- compliance with sanitary regulations;
- ensuring unobstructed passage along the waterline and between beach sections.
The task force identified several violations: the placement of sun loungers directly at the water's edge, hindering passage, as well as instances of unauthorized trading. These violations were recorded by the police, and a report was filed.
Recommendations were provided to renters to enhance accessibility conditions.
A summarized report with conclusions and suggestions for the upcoming recreational season will be prepared based on the inspection results.
The next step is to inspect the beaches of the Primorsky district in Odesa.
