The leaders of student self-government in Odesa's secondary education institutions convened for the first meeting of the Student Parliament for the 2024/2025 academic year.
During the meetings, students reviewed the Parliament's activities from the 2023/2024 academic year, awarding the most active participants with certificates from the Odesa City Council's Department of Education and Science.
Graduates and past members of the Parliament attended the meeting to support new candidates and share their experiences.
Following this year's voting, the elected members of the Student Parliament presidium for the 2024/2025 academic year are: Alina Dildina (Kyiv District), Yelyzaveta Buzynovska (Primorsky District), Milena Mala (Hadzhybei District), Darya Boyarska (Peresyp District).
District parliament leaders will join the Youth Council under the Odesa Mayor and represent the interests of Odesa's youth in the city council, participating in shaping the city's youth policy.
The meeting also approved projects to be implemented in the 2024/2025 academic year, focusing on areas such as protecting socially vulnerable groups, promoting a healthy lifestyle, ecology, cultural and charitable events, volunteering, and more.
