In Odesa, the exhibition titled «Alley of Resilience» has been inaugurated in the Exchange Square, commemorating the victims of war and celebrating the fortitude of cities that stood firm against danger.
This installation features 15 columns representing Ukrainian cities that were among the first to experience the large-scale invasion. On the pedestals, remnants of missiles and shells found during reconstruction are displayed, while plaques with notches symbolize the number of enemy missile strikes on specific cities.
If you lean in to look at the mirrored plaque, you can see your own reflection with symbolic scars from missiles, representing the pain in the heart of every Ukrainian.
The exhibition was organized by the public organization «Dobrobat – volunteer construction battalion» with the support of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and Naftogaz of Ukraine.
The author of the exhibition is sculptor Jan-Pavlo Roman.
The exhibition has previously been showcased in cities such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia.
