During a fishing enforcement operation, inspectors along with border guards and police discovered significant violations of fishing regulations.

In the Belgorod Canal, a man was caught illegally catching fish using prohibited nets. As a result, he harvested 9 white amurs and 34 carp, totaling over 100 kg.

The damage to Ukraine's fish stocks amounted to 158,746 hryvnias. A crime scene investigation team from the National Police was called to the location. The offender was issued an administrative protocol, and materials are being prepared for opening a criminal case. The police seized the illegally caught fish, nets, and a wooden boat.
