A new project is being initiated in Odesa, aiming to establish a rehabilitation center based at City Hospital No. 5, which will focus on producing bionic prosthetics for veterans.

Representatives from the German organization Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe visited the hospital to discuss potential collaborative efforts on this important initiative.

«During the war, German donors have been supporting Odesa through the charity fund "Morning of Revival". Our goal is to assist veterans», – said Veronika Etnarovych, advisor to the mayor of Odesa.

The German partners positively assessed the mayor's initiative and the plans for creating a southern Ukrainian rehabilitation center.

Adam McKerrow, head of the Johanniter office in Ukraine, expressed his willingness to collaborate on establishing bionic prosthetics production and training Ukrainian specialists alongside German colleagues.

«A tender is currently underway for the renovation of the rehabilitation center building. I am grateful to our German partners for their support. I hope that soon we will launch the production of bionic prosthetics at our hospital», – emphasized Levon Nikoghosyan, director of the Health Department.
