The Navy Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provide protection at sea, on land, and in the air, doing everything possible for the safety of our nation.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook on the occasion of the Navy Forces Day.

Together with all defense units, the Navy forces demonstrate that Ukraine is capable of protecting its interests.

“There will be no Russian landing in Odesa, “Moscow” has sunk, Snake Island is under Ukrainian control, 28 Russian ships and one submarine have been destroyed, and the “grain corridor” continues to support global food security,” emphasized Zelensky and congratulated on Navy Forces Day.

Navy Forces Day has been celebrated since 2015 on the first Sunday of July according to the decree of the President of Ukraine dated June 12, 2015.
