In celebration of its 200th anniversary, the Odessa Archaeological Museum has collaborated with “Ukrposhta” to introduce a new stamp.

The stamp showcases famous artifacts from the museum's collection.

“These items are currently stored away, awaiting their time to shine. Meanwhile, you can acquire them in a stamp format of 29.58x33 mm,” – the statement reveals.

It’s important to note that the Odessa Archaeological Museum of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is the oldest archaeological museum in the country, celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. It also houses the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in Ukraine, including sarcophagi, mummies, steles, ushabti, scarabs, amulets, and fragments of papyrus. This unique collection was established in the 19th to early 20th century.
