The Ministry of Defense has formulated new strategies to significantly reduce the time required for preparing and submitting documentation for the commendation of military personnel for their combat achievements.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

«The Ministry has implemented an improved algorithm to accelerate and simplify all procedures. Military units will send award materials to the respective military management bodies. From there, documents will be forwarded directly to the leadership of the Armed Forces for review. Both instances are required to process documents within two days. Afterward, the paperwork will be sent to the Office of the President. The entire process will take between 8 to 16 days», the statement reads.

Previously, this procedure could take anywhere from 3 to 8 months due to the need for multiple approvals across various levels, with some documents being manually processed.

The Ministry of Defense also indicated that they are currently exploring the possibility of displaying the state award certificate in the Diia application. These proposals will be sent to the relevant authorities for the necessary changes.
