Due to the extensive Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, emergency power outages have been implemented in parts of Ukraine. This was reported by the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" on their Facebook page.
"As a result of the massive rocket and drone assaults on energy facilities, a significant number of consumers are left without electricity in Kiev, Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Odesa regions. Emergency outages have been introduced in these areas to stabilize the energy system," the statement said.
Energy workers are diligently working to restore stable electricity supply, and the emergency outages will be lifted once the situation in the energy system normalizes.
