Yesterday, November 29, a fire broke out in an apartment on the seventh floor of a 14-story residential building on Semen Paliy Street in Odesa. Due to heavy smoke, firefighters operated with breathing and eye protection equipment.
The swift actions of the firefighters allowed for the quick extinguishing of the fire and prevented it from spreading to neighboring apartments.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
A research laboratory from the State Emergency Service is heading to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
A total of 11 units of equipment and 39 firefighters were involved in the firefighting efforts.
