Rescuers from Odessa participated in a video meeting with representatives from the Tulcea County Emergency Inspectorate, Tulcea County Police, the ‘Borderlink’ Association, and the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg NEXT ‘Romania-Ukraine 2021-2027’ program. The agenda included planning the signing of a grant agreement for the project ‘Joint Response to Fires, Floods in Hard-to-Reach Areas, and Search and Rescue Operations – F.F.&S.A.R’ (Project ID: ROUA00400).
The project proposal has received funding approval, and work is currently underway to sign the grant agreement and begin project implementation. The Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odessa region plans to acquire a specialized vehicle - an all-terrain vehicle.
