Law enforcement officers are organizing educational activities in kindergartens, schools, and district departments. These activities are conducted in the form of games, lessons, and excursions.
Recently, in Odesa, as well as in Odesa, Bolhrad, and Izmail districts, police officers talked to children about traffic rules, home safety, the dangers of explosive devices, and the role of law enforcement in combating crime.
Children learned to recognize traffic signs and traffic light signals, safe road crossing, and how to enhance their visibility at night using reflective elements.
Officers also reminded that, given the ongoing war, there is a possibility of encountering dangerous objects, which should not be touched. In case of discovering such items, it is imperative to report them to the rescuers (101) or police (102).
Furthermore, police emphasized the importance of following safety rules at home, such as not opening the door to strangers and being cautious with household chemicals and other dangerous items.
Young people were informed about the risks of communicating with strangers, explaining that personal information should not be shared, and one should firmly refuse any proposals to commit illegal acts for a reward.
Many interesting activities were dedicated to introducing children to professions in the law enforcement field. Boys and girls learned about the daily duties of police officers, explored the latest technological innovations, participated in improvised training on investigating simulated crimes, and asked specialists various questions.
Such meetings foster respect for the law, teach responsibility, and assist in career choices.
