Exhibition Reflecting the Pain of War

A photography exhibition titled "Wounds of War in Odesa" has opened in the City Garden of Odesa. This social project has been realized in collaboration with BMW Motorrad Odesa and documentary photographer Konstantin Revutskiy. The photographs showcase over twenty locations in the city that have suffered from Russian attacks: missile strikes, drones, and the destruction of infrastructure.

Konstantin Revutskiy, the author of the nationwide photo project "The Price of Freedom," has traveled to hundreds of cities across Ukraine and Europe. As a photographer and biker, he rode through Odesa on his BMW motorcycle, documenting the consequences of enemy shelling.

"The main message is to document the war, specifically the war in Ukraine. People see this, share it, document it, and there are collaborations happening in Odesa, Kyiv, and other cities, as well as in other countries across Europe," explains Revutskiy.

The project aims not only to capture the destruction but also to unite people—photographers, bikers, artists, and viewers. The exhibition serves as a space of memory, strength, and hope for victory.

"First, it’s about showing these places to ourselves, to me, to you, and to our fellow Ukrainians, to show that there is a war ongoing in the country, and only then to Europe and the world. We start with ourselves, we begin with us," adds the photographer.

The presentation also provided an opportunity for visitors to engage directly with the author and learn more about the project's history. Konstantin Revutskiy plans to present these photographs at the Odesa Art Museum in the future.
