A new section titled "Payment for Construction" has been added to the "DiiA" application within the framework of the eRecovery program.

According to the press service of "DiiA", if your home was destroyed due to military actions, you can build a new one on your land with state compensation.

This service is available to those who have lost their private homes due to military actions and have land where they can build a new one. Construction is permitted only on state-controlled territory, where active hostilities have ceased.

To receive the payment:

1. Submit a compensation application through DiiA or at the local administrative center. After review, the compensation amount will be assigned and visible in your DiiA account.

2. Register the start of construction works on the DiiA portal or at the local administrative center.

3. After receiving the compensation, cancel the ownership of the destroyed property.

4. Submit a payment request in the DiiA application: Services → eRecovery → Payment for Construction.

You will need to update your banking details and select the construction object according to the previously submitted notification of the start of construction works.

Payments are made in two installments of 50%. The first installment must be spent 90%, and you need to confirm this in "DiiA". It should be used within 18 months, and both installments within 36 months from the date of receiving the first. Otherwise, the payment will revert to the state.

Reminder:

Through "DiiA", you can submit an application to the Damage Register for compensation for emotional pain and suffering due to the loss of a close family member.

Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression since February 24, 2022, can also submit six additional types of claims to the international Damage Register through "DiiA".

The "DiiA" application has added an extract from the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property — information about the destruction of housing or submitted applications for eRecovery.
