In the first quarter of 2025, the Ukrainian roads welcomed 12.8 thousand new electric vehicles.

According to Ukravtoprom, the highest registration figures for these vehicles were recorded in:

• Lviv region – 1961 units (94% used);
• Kyiv city – 1632 units (68% used);
• Kyiv region – 1120 units (76% used);
• Dnipropetrovsk region – 986 units (80% used);
• Odesa region – 761 units (76% used).

The most popular new electric vehicle in these markets was the BYD Song Plus EV.

Regarding imported used vehicles, the following models were the most sought after:

• TESLA Model Y – in Kyiv and surrounding areas;
• TESLA Model 3 – in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk;
• NISSAN Leaf – in Odesa region.

As a reminder, during January to March, Ukrainians purchased 12 thousand imported used passenger cars aged under 5 years.
