The individual sold three cars that had been imported into Ukraine for military and charitable purposes. He has been charged and a preventive measure has been applied. The suspect faces up to seven years in prison with asset confiscation.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police.

The police explained that a 43-year-old resident of the capital organized the importation of cars into Ukraine under the guise of serving military units and charitable organizations. Subsequently, he sold these humanitarian vehicles on online platforms.

This crime is classified under part 3 of Article 201-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and is punishable by imprisonment for up to seven years with asset confiscation", the statement reads.
