On May 15, a charity event was held in Odessa featuring the renowned clarinetist Julian Milkis.

This was announced by the Odessa Regional Philharmonic named after David Oistrakh on their Facebook page.

Julian Milkis, along with the chamber orchestra, performed pieces by the legendary Georgian composer Gia Kancheli.

The funds raised during the concert will be donated to the charity fund "Monsters Corporation" to support the military.

Julian Milkis is a world-famous clarinetist and the only student of jazz legend Benny Goodman, originally from Odessa. He moved to Canada during Soviet times and later settled in New York. Milkis has performed with various symphonic orchestras, including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Vivaldi Chamber Orchestra. During the ongoing war, he has frequently returned to Odessa for charity concerts.
